“Jason is a wonderful speaker, sure to inspire.”

Sandy Kimbrough, Ph. D. Professor, Health and Human Performance Texas A&M University-Commerce, TX

Jason Morgan was a guest speaker in my university course, Must Love Dogs, in 2020.  Jason’s story of courage, grief, joy, strength, and hope is truly for everyone.   Jason is a true hero and an example of perseverance and gratitude.  The bond he has had with his service dogs Napal and Rue is incredible, and I highly recommend not only his book, A Dog Called Hope, but meeting Jason in person if you can.  His story is for all audiences; Jason is an engaging speaker and an amazing human being.

Michelle Davison Executive Director Canine Companions for Independence® South Central Region

Jason has been a tireless advocate for Canine Companions for Independence® and for service dogs in general across the country.  His captivating testimony showcases the full range of how a service dog can enhance the life of those they serve, painting a vivid picture and bringing the need for this vital service to life.

I’ve known Jason for several years. He’s a neighbor and good friend.  Jason excelled at one of the toughest jobs in the Air Force as a combat weatherman and since his retirement has enjoyed an equally great career as a motivational speaker and author.  As I’ve gotten to know Jason and his family, I’m more and more impressed at his attitude and dedication to excellence in everything he does.  He’s a great representative of the Air Force and the Veterans community, and a wonderful example of what mental and spiritual toughness can achieve.  Jason and his service dog Rue spoke to our Air Force Association Chapter this spring and the feedback was unanimous: “best seen to date”.  Thanks, Jason, for your example.

The McKinney Newcomers loved you and your presentation today.

Each month, I leave short survey forms on all the tables asking for a review of the program.

Jason, you received a 10 on every survey form.  Wahoo!

I met SSGT Jason Morgan in the Fall of 2019, after he spoke to an organization that supports wounded Veterans.  He honored his commitment as the keynote speaker that night, even while spiking a high fever. He soon discovered he had an infection that was related to his multiple previous surgeries. This was the first major setback since the early years of his injuries and required a several month hospitalization. Months later, while on the mend, Jason spoke at a father-son lunch that I facilitated. The entire audience was mesmerized. One particular story that Jason shared was that of finishing the Marine Corps Marathon, days after a lifesaving leg amputation, during which he endured hurricane force winds and rain. In his words, he focused on “his abilities, not his disabilities”.  This left an indelible impression upon all in attendance. Jason’s story is one of relentless courage, tenacious perseverance, and a message of unwavering hope.

When U.S. Air Force veteran Jason Morgan, starting speaking at the Chicago Haute Dog Chicago fundraiser, you could've heard a pin drop. His story captivated the audience as well as his charming persona. He was a joy to meet in person too, along with his beautiful, trusty service dog. I wish there were more vets sharing their story like he did, with honesty, humor and grace. I hope I get to hear/see him again soon. He transformed the event into something very powerful.

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Steve is Batiz, and I had the privilege of attending your talk at the 2023 NextHome Conference last week in Houston, Texas. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude and admiration for your incredible speech, which truly touched my heart and left a profound impact on everyone in the room.

Your story of resilience and determination in the face of adversity is a testament to the strength of the human spirit. Listening to you recount your experiences as an Airforce veteran and how you've adapted to life in a wheelchair was both heart-wrenching and inspiring. Your ability to share such a personal journey with such vulnerability and courage is something I will never forget.

Additionally, your experiences with your service dog from Canine Companions perfectly highlighted the incredible bond between humans and animals. Hearing about how your loyal companion has transformed your life, providing support, love, and assistance in ways that have allowed you to regain your independence, was truly moving. Your story serves as a beautiful reminder of the power of companionship and the positive impact these amazing service animals can have on the lives of those who need them.

I must admit that, like many others in the room, I couldn't help but shed a few tears as you spoke. Your story has resonated with me on a deeply personal level, and I am grateful for the lessons and insights you've shared. Your unwavering strength and the bond you share with your service dog have inspired me to be more compassionate, empathetic, and understanding in my own life.

Once again, thank you for sharing your incredible journey with all of us at the conference. You've made a lasting impression, and I have no doubt that your story will continue to inspire and motivate countless others who hear it.

Wishing you all the best, and please know that your bravery and resilience have not gone unnoticed.

With warm regards,

Thanks,
